Laboratory removals

We can manage the whole process for you from start to finish, allocating a highly experienced project manager to undertake all the necessary planning and management.

Before the move we carry out a rigorous COSHH assessment, identifying any potential hazards, negating any with prepared method statements to ensure the process is procedurally safe. We then deploy specialist ADR trained operatives to carry out all necessary preparation, packing and transportation for your move.

Factory and machinery removals

Whether you are looking to move one machine, or an entire factory of machinery and equipment, JTS have the fully trained and highly experienced industrial relocation staff to make it happen to the highest possible standard, from project managers to removals staff. Along with transportation we can provide engineers to both dismantle and install plant and machinery equipment, providing a complete all round delivery service for clients.

Health & Safety

With all our moves Health & Safety is a top priority. During the pre-move planning stage of all our projects we pay extremely careful attention to Health & Safety, creating a full risk assessment method statement for all stages of the move. For all laboratory moves, our Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor assesses the requirements prior to the move and is also present throughout.

All our operative staff are fully trained in identifying hazards and creating secondary risk assessments prior to commencing work each day, ensuring the utmost safety of all who may be present; and our senior management are fully certified in Managing Safely by the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH).

Commercial shipping

JTS also provide a fully comprehensive ‘everything under one roof’ commercial shipping solution. This unique and comprehensive service can provide you with the confidence and peace of mind of knowing that your load is in the best possible hands from start to finish at every stage of its journey, whether it be via road, sea or air.

Our flexible, door-to-door service includes all aspects of moving a consignment, be it heavy machinery or office furniture, gym equipment or statues. We can provide specialist skills and equipment for machinery decommissioning, dismantling and handling (and if required, rebuild and recommissioning at destination), specialist packing and crating (using bespoke lined crates), customs documentation and clearance services, and assistance with other paperwork that may be required. Comprehensive marine insurance can be provided on request.

Shipments can be tracked from the offset and benefit from the services of a dedicated and experienced account manager. JTS continues to be fully committed to the environment, and so CO2 offset can be calculated and certified for land, sea and air to make the movement of your load carbon neutral.
