METMOTEC announces a range of low cost antennas for industrial wireless modems covering 2G, 3G & 4G/LTE, NB-IoT &Cat-M, and WiFi connection
METMOTEC’s antennas are specified for industrial use and the range includes indoor and weatherproof outdoor antennas rated to IP66 with temperature operating range of minus 20℃ to plus 75℃ with some achieving minus 40℃ to plus 85℃. Antennas can be supplied with custom length cables with connector options (typically SMA and FME) for most most manufacturers’ modems. Various models have direct connector fixing, magnetic attachment, wall or panel bracket mounting or adhesive fixing to glass or plastic panels. Surge-protectors can be supplied with outdoor antennas. Minimum order quantities apply to all models but free trial samples are available.
The following illustrates some popular cellular networks antenna types. Other antennas models are available including, for example, industrial Wi-Fi and 2-port MIMO for high speed 4G connection. Customers are invited to consult on these and other types of antenna requirement.
STUB-UNIVERSAL
This is a good 4G/LTE antenna also suitable for 2G & 3G connection (698-2700 MHz) with up to 2dBi gain. It is available with SMA-male or FME-female connectors.
CREST-UNIVERSAL
A good all-round antenna with useful 2.5 dBi gain and 3-metre standard cable for high mounting providing communication with 4G/LTE, 2G, 3G & GPRS networks (824-960/1710-2700 MHz). Flexible blades can be adhered to glass and plastic (adhesive foam backing included).
VERTEX-UNIVERSAL
A weather-proof outdoor antenna (IP66 rated) fitted with a 5-metre low signal loss co-ax cable (RG58) and providing up to 12 dBi gain. Connects with 4G/LTE, 2G, 3G & GPRS networks (698-2700 MHz). This is a compact unit; the antenna body when fitted with the ‘L’ bracket is only 23 cms long. ‘L’ & ‘U’ mounting brackets (for pole diam. 3 to 5 cm) are included. METER-MATE-2
This very small (3 x 4 cm) and thin antenna has a 33 cm cable enabling many possible fitting positions inside enclosures or under the terminal cover of industrial electricity meters where a stub or blade antenna may not fit. The cable length allows terminal cover removal and antenna positioning away from power cables for avoidance of signal interference. Available with right-angle or straight SMA connector, or straight FME. It is suitable for 2G, 3G & GPRS operation (824-960/1710-2170 MHz) and offers 2 dBi gain.
